Congrats! You just got your first sugar baby allowance. There’s money in the bank, your wallet’s full of cash and you can’t stop thinking about all the things you can buy and do with this newfound wealth.
Stop right there.
Before you get to spending all those dolla dolla bills – here’s 6 things you can do with that sugar allowance that will pay dividends in the long run.
(Sensible) Shopping & Pampering
The very first thing I always recommend investing in is your own wardrobe. It can be tempting to go on an instant shopping trip the second you get your allowance but you need to be smart about this.
While you obviously have every right to buy whatever takes your fancy, try to focus on buying several wardrobe staples, like the 5 wardrobe staples every sugar baby should have.
While I always tried to be sensible at first by buying things I could mix and match a bunch of times, I also had a wishlist, usually consisting of whatever handbag I was lusting after at the time. My first big gift was a beautiful Gucci one and it’s safe to say I became hooked! You’ll feel so much better if you fit in at the fancy restaurants and events your sugar daddy brings you to.
Personal grooming is another area I would recommend investing in. In the sugar world, looks are always going to play a part. It’s what attracted your SD to you in the first place and you don’t want the relationship to break down due to complacency.
I’m personally not a fan of the fake nails look but I always make sure to have a fresh file and polish on my hands and toes.
Editor’s tip: I personally hate having to go to the nail salon regularly but I love the look of a beautifully done manicure. So do sugar daddies – especially when the nails are reflective of your personality.
One easy way to always keep your nails looking cute and dressed up is to pick up some Inococo Nail Strips – they come in a huge variety of designs, they take a few minutes to put on and they last a good while. Plus, they’ll save you a lot of manicure money when you’re a newbie sugar baby and don’t have the funds (yet)!
Growing up in Southern California, I’m used to living in a bikini so I know the value of having a good waxer. When I first started to get intimate with my first serious sugar daddy, I decided to look for a more permanent solution so I actually booked a course of laser hair removal.
I had six sessions and now I go back about once every four or five months. It’s definitely one of the better investments I made.
The last thing I’m quite strict about keeping up with is my hair – I get my highlights done every eight weeks and I usually get a blowdry before a date. Bouncy curls always make you feel super sexy. I
t might seem vain but as I said, looks play a major part in what attracted your sugar daddy to you in the first place and there’s plenty of competition out there. You want his eyes firmly on you!
Get Rid of That Weight On Your Chest
Okay now for a boring, but essential, one – paying off any debts or loans you’ve accumulated. This is actually what got me into sugaring in the first place. I studied abroad for both my undergrad and postgrad degrees and found myself racking up quite a bit of debt.
I managed to make a pretty substantial dent in my loans and to be honest, sugar daddies I’ve had in the past liked that they were helping me in this way. Hearing that they’re helping you with student loans tends to make them feel useful and like their money is going towards something worthwhile.
For Christmas one year, my sugar daddy even gave me a cheque of $3,500 specifically towards my student loans!
What Goes Around Comes Around
Here’s one creative thing to do with your sugar allowance: Buy your sugar daddy a gift! I know this might seem like a strange one – you’re meant to be the one getting the gifts, right?
But it’s actually one of the smartest things you can do.
It doesn’t have to be crazy expensive but it does have to be thoughtful. They have enough money to buy almost anything they want but getting a gift from you will show you’re thinking about him and that the give and take isn’t just one sided.
Gifts I’ve bought sugar daddies in the past have included his favorite cologne, a jersey from his favorite sports team or even personalized golf balls for one golf mad SD. It always put me in good standing and remember, a happy sugar daddy is a generous sugar daddy!
Build That Nest Egg, Babies
Another slightly boring one I’m afraid but one you’ll thank yourself for doing if (and when) sh*t hits the fan: any smart SB will be sure to save some of her allowance as well.
I know it can be tempting to blow it all on a fabulous shopping spree (trust me, we’ve all been there and no one’s judging you) but saving some of your allowance is probably the smartest move you can make.
I’ve had times when I’ve been between sugar daddies due to being too busy with studying or simply waiting for the right one to come along and you need something to tide yourself over with. It’s not only smart in the sugar world – you should try to always have a little cushion to cover yourself.
Don’t Forget to Treat Yourself
Okay the rest are pretty important and all but once you’ve allocated parts of your allowance to the above, remember that the absolute most important thing is to have fun! If you see a pair of killer heels, buy them! If you’re dying for a massage, book it! If you’ve been dreaming of that vacation, take it!
Life is way too short to not enjoy yourself and there’s no point putting all this effort in if you don’t get to have fun. Being in the sugar world means you get to experience the best restaurants, hotels and events out there so take advantage while you can and enjoy it!
Just don’t blow it all on this last category – be smart with a portion of your money and have massive fun with the rest!

This came really in handy. I’m a new sugar baby and I feel so lost. I wish I knew more sugar babies to talk to.
